We crossed the road from the Hilton today to collect the car from the Alamo, and headed north out of San Francisco across Golden Gate Bridge to explore the Marin Headland, Point Bonita. We had a car park scheduled stop drive to Muir Woods and visit the Giant Redwood Trees. What a great day, amazing scenery and the weather is so different across the bridge, cooler and cloudy.

Later we took a detour through Mount Tamalpais National Park and took the Panamoric Highway, before a drive back into San Francisco via Sausalito - great little town with hundreds of boats mores in the vast marina.
